Art is the beauty that brings us together.

Art is what you have in your hands, what you hang on your walls, what you read and what you believe. I love to be challenged and inspired and I want to bring that to the people who view and buy my work.

What I love most about clay is the ability to literally shape a story: the rough draft is the overall form and the revisions are the textures and colors that take their final forms through the process of firings. Much of my work is raku fired because it allows me to explore various themes in a way that in cohesive and yet chaotic. I also love the community created by raku firings. I can reach out to friends - many of whom are also artists - announce a firing and get a fun social group together outside to enjoy the excitement and joy of the process of raku firing.
